Made it to Maui

Plane was delayed but we made it. Sat next to a pilot who bought us drinks the whole way there. Arrived to an upgraded room (thanks to Jeff knowing people and telling them it was our anniversary). Here is the view from our window.

Had dinner last night with Jeff's work friends. Everyone there had anniversaries in October. Jeff and I were 10 years and the next fewest years being celebrated were 25, 26, 27 and 32 years. It was a lovely dinner and so nice to talk to people who had raised kids, had careers and were filled with great advice about how to last another 20 years of marriage.

I loved it!

Going on a waterfall hike now. Will have lots of pictures to post later.
