Our last day in Maui we spent touring the island in our rental car. We went shopping and out to lunch, toured more beaches, and then took a scenic route back to the airport. 
The drive was beautiful, but a little scary. For about 8 miles of the trip, it was a very narrow, single lane road up winding turns with very steep drop offs and no guardrails. On coming traffic was a frightening challenge as two cars tried to find the right time and place to pass each other on the very narrow roads. 
The scenery made it worth it, and when we were past the worst of the roads, I was happy to have had an exciting adventure to end our vacation. 
We are back home now...with our own little exciting adventure, Tanner!
