Tanner's status as "the only child" was pretty obvious. There were comments like, "Look. Both of his parents came." Yes, we tend to do things in threes. The Three Musketeers, that's what we were calling ourselves this weekend.
After a Saturday night birthday party for Grandma Shezzie, the Three Musketeers turned into the Three Amigos when we headed down south for some of that Mexico sun. We arrived on Sunday afternoon and treated ourselves to some tacos by the pool. Then had dinner on the condo patio while the sun was setting.
Monday morning we headed to the driving range. It was so relaxing to look out over the green hills pushing up to towering sand dunes. I could smell the ocean, the sky was clear and blue, the breeze just perfect. And, my swing...still needs a lot of work!
Following golf was lunch at the Fish Market then relaxing on the beach. We finished out the day with another sunset dinner.
Tuesday morning was full of Mexico errands to run. The downside to being a condo owner is that there are always things that need fixed (the sofa pull out bed), things that have gone missing (kitchen scrub brush) and things you realize you need more of (clothes hangers). Unfortunately, Rocky Point doesn't have Targets and Walgreen's yet, so trying to find a bed spring, a dish scrubber and hangers wasn't easy, and in this case impossible (we did manage to find a dish scrubber)!
After errands, we settled down for a quick lunch at the beachfront cafe before heading home. Tanner decided to try a fruity drink of his own this time (pineapple juice)! It was a great vacation. Can't wait for the next one.
